Naudin-Ferrand - Wine Craftswomanship
Claire Naudin took over the Domaine Naudin Ferrand in 1994 with her own vision. She is a strong believer in the principle of wine making that is respectuous of the environment and the local ecosystems. She refuses standardization, prefering a traditional craftswomanship approach. Here traditional Burgundy wines, full of emotion. As woman and a mother she also wants to work for the future, with a carbon neutral winemaking approach.
Flash Info
The 2009 price list has just been published. I wanted to put forward the "nature" wines, whose fan club is continuously increasing. In all our tables, they are highlighted by their colored background.
- Viola Odorata, showing the refinement of our whole berry vinification, with the typical expression of the Cote de Nuits Villages : more volume and more structure.
- Orchis Mascula, very delicate
- Nuits 1er Cru les Damodes : for the afficionados of wines with a strong personality, discover this First Grow with structure and finesse, to keep a few years in the cellar before drinling
- Echezeaux Grand Cru, for very special occasions
- Do not forget the Le Clou 34 and Bellis, in white, or the Omayga, in red...
Vinified with great respect for the grape, those wines, very "nature", are fragrant, complex, and sometimes surprising. Unfiltered, they are nevertheless very stable, thanks to a small addition of sulfite at bottling: they travel and keep very well. Be tempted, but act quickly as they are available in limited quantities
As Seasons Go
Like last year, I will document the growth of a small vine and show ou the evolution. This time it is in the "Echezeaux", from the spring up to November. Click on the image under the vertical menu.
